ElleVet’s Feline Complete Paste has been developed specifically for cats, in a chicken and pork flavor that cats love. Feline Paste works extremely well for mobility, stress and cognitive support and is the only feline hemp product that has been proven safe in a long-term safety study. The feline paste comes in an easy dial-a-dose syringe, and should be administered with a small amount of food or a treat to help with absorption. Each box contains two syringes (300mg hemp extract per syringe); each gram contains 10mg of hemp extract. Cats have very few options for safe and effective relief – we can’t wait for your cat to try the paste and to feel like a kitten again!

FAQs

Are there different administration instructions for different issues with cats?

The recommended 2mg/kg twice daily administration is recommended for mobility, stress, and cognitive support in most cats. Some might require a higher amount but the majority of cats respond extremely well to this amount for multiple issues. Call us if you would like to discuss your cat’s individual needs.

Can I switch from one product to another?

Yes, the active ingredient in the oil, paste, and soft gels is the same, so you can use the products interchangeably without issue. You can switch from one to another if you’re still finding the right fit, or you can use multiple products simultaneously, such as oil in the AM and paste in the PM.

How do I get my cat to accept the paste?

Our paste had a high acceptance rate in our palatability study, but as we all know cats can be finicky. If your cat is hesitant to eat the paste, we recommend giving at mealtime to improve palatability and increase absorption.

What is the difference between dog and cat products?

All of ElleVet’s products contain the same safe and effective Complete Spectrum Proprietary Hemp Oil. The formulation of our Oil products for cats and dogs are identical, while our Feline Paste is formulated specifically for cats. Through our research, we have learned that cats need a higher amount of hemp extract per kg of body weight than dogs because they don’t absorb it quite as well as dogs. The administration tables on our Feline products reflect this higher amount to ensure cats get the support they need.

Are your products safe for cats with food sensitivities or allergies?

The chicken and pork ingredients in our Feline Paste are partially hydrolyzed. As always, consult with your veterinarian regarding your cat’s specific health needs. If your cat has a food sensitivity, consider using our Feline Oil or Soft Gels which can be given at mealtime.

Our Hemp Paste for Cats

ElleVet’s Feline Paste has been developed specifically for cats, in a chicken and pork flavored paste that cats love. Palatability can be a challenge with feline products, and it took us two years to develop a product that has a taste that cats love and that contains our full spectrum hemp oil. The feline paste is dosed for cats, and comes in an easy dial-a-dose syringe. The paste should be given twice a day, morning and evening, with a small amount of food or a treat for the best absorption. The paste works extremely well for joint discomfort and mobility, stress, and cognitive support, and is the only feline hemp product that has been proven safe in a long-term safety study. Cats have very few options for safe and effective relief, and we can’t wait for your cat to try the paste and start feeling like a kitten again!

Our paste is specifically formulated for cats and comes in a dial-a-dose syringe to make it easy to give. ElleVet paste should be given twice a day, morning and evening, with a small amount of food or a treat for the best absorption.

A third dose can be given 4-6 hours apart, if needed, for additional support.

How to Measure and Administer the Paste in Five Easy Steps

Either administer paste into your cat’s empty dish or onto their paws (allowing them to lick the paste off)

1. Use weight chart to determine the amount needed. Make sure the cap is securely fastened on the end of the syringe. Hold the syringe horizontally.
2. Rotate the dial ring on the plunger until the left side of the ring lines up with the amount you would like to administer. Note: Each line on the plunger represents 1 gram.
3. Remove the cap on the tip of the syringe.
4. Push the end of the plunger until the ring hits the barrel to administer paste.
5. Replace the cap on the top of the syringe.
